We really appreciate the work of our Teachers. At TPAA we would like to acknowledge the dedicated work all Teachers do for the benefit of students, schools and the community.

Nominate a superstar Teacher for a chance to win them a $500 Visa Gift Card this Teacher Week. The runner-up will receive a one-year free membership with TPAA. These unsung heroes work tirelessly, profoundly impacting our students' lives in ways that often go unnoticed but are deeply felt.

We seek a story about your teacher (250 words maximum).  In telling us about their invaluable support that extends far beyond academic instruction you can consider some of the following:

1. Life Skills Development: Beyond academics, teachers impart essential life skills such as time management, communication, and problem-solving, preparing students for future success.
2. Role Modeling: By demonstrating positive behaviors and attitudes, teachers serve as influential role models, shaping students' character and values.
3. Mentorship: Teachers often act as mentors, offering guidance on personal and professional development, helping students navigate life's challenges.
4. Emotional Support Systems: In times of stress or difficulty, teachers are often the first to notice when a student is struggling. They provide emotional support, helping to manage anxiety, boost self-esteem, and encourage resilience.
5. Community Building: Through classroom activities and projects, teachers cultivate a sense of belonging and teamwork, preparing students for collaborative environments.
6. Encouraging Creativity and Innovation: Teachers inspire students to think outside the box, fostering creativity and innovative thinking that extends beyond traditional academic subjects.

Our Teachers embody the very essence of what it means to be an educator – patient, kind, supportive, and deeply committed to the well-being and success of every student. They are truly deserving of this recognition and so much more.

Winner will be drawn on Friday 25 October at 4PM and notified by email.
