Written by TPAA | Sep 11, 2026, 1:58:07 AM

Bargaining continues across Victorian and Queensland schools, with progress on wage offers, revised agreements and negotiations. Here’s the latest on where each agreement currently stands.

Victorian Government Schools Agreement (VGSA) 2022

TPAA members have unanimously supported the offer put forward by the Department. TPAA is now awaiting the next steps while the Department resolves outstanding matters with other parties. Once these discussions conclude, the agreement will proceed to a vote. Members will receive an email outlining the next steps as further information becomes available.

Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2026

TPAA will meet with the CMEA in the coming week to discuss the revised offer following the YES vote on the Victorian Government Schools Agreement wage offer.  The CMEA is expected to meet the wage offer put forward for Victorian Government Schools. Members will be updated once further details are confirmed.

Queensland Anglican Schools Enterprise Agreement 2024

Victorian members sent a clear message, knocking back the Department's 15 May offer and forcing it back to the table. On 17 July the Department returned with a revised offer: pay rises of roughly 28–32% over four years, backdated to 17 July. But pay was never the whole story, and members are now having their say on whether it goes far enough.

We've sent impacted members a critical survey to complete to help shape our response to the offer. It's important you vote on the different proposals, knowing this is not the final binding vote, which will be distributed in due course.

Catholic Employers Single Enterprise Collective Agreement – Diocesan Schools of Queensland 2026

TPAA has reviewed the final draft agreement and responded to the employer with the changes that still need to be made. We are now awaiting advice on the next steps in negotiations and will update members as soon as further information is received.
